- unforgettable moments

passed the sixth anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II. Meetings with the Holy Father has always been for me a great experience - never happened to me is nothing more sublime. Practically grew up and developed his personality in the shadow of the papacy of Pope Pole.

As a 9-year-old child lived very happily (like everyone) the moment the choice of the Polish Pope. There was something unusual, because a Polish pope predicted in advance not only poets, but also ordinary people like my father. I remember pictures of His Holiness wklejaliśmy then to notebooks from religion. People stood up for himself like the others, returned to the hope for a better future ...

obtained a majority in 1987, so in the visit of John Paul II in Poland. These were unforgettable moments: Gdynia, Snowdrift, and above all Westerplatte, where, during a meeting with the youth, the Holy Father told us about the need to have some own Westerplatte. These words sounded like an order and ideological credo, for me personally impressed by the rest of your life.

I felt very proud that I was in a church service of order. Although the humiliation of revisions carried out by SB, unable to counteract the fact that the Security Service officers disguise themselves as priests in a nearby grove of Westerplatte and penetrate into the crowd, it felt free like never before. I could not resist the premonition that this is a breath of true freedom, which came soon after.

In 1993 I had the opportunity to attend a meeting of Poles in Lithuania with the Holy Father at St.. Spirit in Vilnius, the miraculous image of Divine Mercy. After graduation, in 1995, a pilgrim to Italy and participated in the audience at the Vatican. Finally came the great Mass in 1999 at the Hippodrome in Sopot, in which I participated as a fully mature. And in these days getting ready to participate in the pilgrimage to Rome beatification.

I also recommend the short, it's important to send videos saying John Paul II - to us, Poles, see below:
